Oregon Interagency Incident Management Team 3 would like to thank the community
of Mitchell, Wheeler and Crook Counties, Oregon Department of Transportation, other
cooperators, and private landowners for assisting the Team’s efforts in the successful
suppression of the fires in the Waterman Complex.

Plans to transfer command to a smaller organization are in progress. The organization
will be based in Prineville High School beginning on Sunday. The incident command
post at the Mitchell School will be closed.

Current Situation
Mopping-up to standards set by the Oregon Department of Forestry on protected private
lands and the Ochoco National Forest on National Forest System lands is nearly complete.  Chipping activities have been completed. Excavators are busy constructing water bars and placing large woody debris over suppression lines to reduce the potential of soil erosion on National System lands; dozers are completing repair work on private lands.
Ochoco National Forest Closure Order 06-07-01-14-001-01 Remains in place.  For a full description and map, see the following link: http://www.fs.usda.gov/alerts/centraloregon/alerts-notices/?aid=24081
