7/28/2014 Buzzard and Camp Creek Fire Update

 Command of the Buzzard Complex and Camp Creek Fires will be returned to the local units tonight at 6 p.m.  This will be the last update you receive from Oregon Interagency Incident Management Team 4.   We appreciate the support of the community while in the area.

Current Status:The fire is located approximately 9 miles SE of Juntura, OR.  

Estimated Acreage:                   6,274 acres
Containment:                           100 percent
Cause:                                      Lightning
Date Started:                            7/23/2014

Fire Information:
All of the acres burned within the Camp Creek Fire are primary sage grouse habitat.

The fires are located 45 SE of Burns, OR.
