Northwest Fire Potential Summary:

An upper trough currently over the region exits eastward today. Look for the beginning of a warming and drying trend to last into next week. By the weekend conditions will be very hot and dry. A possible significant lightning event late in the week could elevate IA levels to moderate or high and increase large fire probability to critical levels.
