Warm Springs OR – The Warm Springs Police Department updated road closures today at 11am on the Nena Springs Fire. Hwy 3 is closed from Webster Flat Road to mile marker 14 for all traffic. Law enforcement officers are re-directing traffic coming into the Ka-Nee-Ta Resort. Drivers will now go through Wolf Point Subdivision to Culpus Bridge into Kaneeta.
A Level 3 evacuation remains in effect for the affected areas.
Please drive slowly and be respectful of law enforcement officers who are directing traffic and working with firefighters to facilitate recommended closures.
Evacuation Notices: The Kah-Nee-Ta Resort & Spa received a Level 3 evacuation notice Thursday evening. As was planned in the event of a wildfire, visitors remained in place overnight. Charley Canyon, Webster Flat Road, South Junction, Culpus Bridge, and Wolf Point Subdivision are at a Level 3 Evacuation as well.
Evacuation Center: The Red Cross established an evacuation center at the Warm Springs Community Center for residents that have been evacuated.
Road Closures: Hwy 3 is closed from Webster Flat Road to mile marker 14 for all traffic; Hwy 8 to Ka-Nee-Ta Village; Webster Flat Road, and Culpus Bridge are closed to all traffic except for those heading to Ka-Nee-Ta Resort.
