Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Potential for new large fires in the region continues to decline due to the cool, wet weather. Significant growth on ongoing incidents is also unlikely. Up to several inches of rain and snow have fallen over the higher terrain of the Oregon Cascades with more to come on Wednesday. Less amounts of rain have fallen east of the Cascades. Fire danger indices are headed downwards until drier and warmer weather returns over the weekend.
