Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Cooler temperatures today and Friday behind the system that moved through yesterday.  There could be some lingering showers in the region today, but little accumulation and low chance of wetting rain.  Breezy conditions in the mountain gaps again this afternoon, but less wind than yesterday.  A slight warming and drying trend is expected over the weekend, but not enough to boost fire danger.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Cool, moist air and fire danger indices in the normal range for this time of year keep the threat of significant fires at or below normal levels.  The 4th of July elevates the risk of human caused ignitions drawing on IA resources in the days surrounding the holiday.
