Northwest Fire Weather Summary
The next in a series of storm systems hit western Washington and northwest Oregon overnight and will spread precipitation south and east through Friday. Precipitation accumulation will be highest in Western Washington, but the rest of that state as well as Western and Northern Oregon are likely to get some rain from this system. Winds could get gusty at times as the frontal system crosses the region. Check your NWS forecast guidance for local timing details. Saturday will see some clearing and dry weather before the next system passes through later in the weekend into the early part of next week.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
The moister marine air mass, along with precipitation will moderate fire danger indices over the next several days. The risk for new significant fires will stay low for the foreseeable future.
