Just a note to let you know that Kris Stein, Eagle Cap District Ranger, has decided to reopen the Hurricane Creek Road and the Hurricane Creek Campground. Fire activity has decreased to the point it is now safe for the public to be in that area. Campers are welcome to use the campground and enjoy the outdoors.
The public can drive to the trailhead, the Hurricane Creek Trail is still closed.
