7/31/2014 Oregon Gulch Fire

Oregon Gulch Fire Crosses into Calif.

The 5,300-acre Oregon Gulch Fire crossed into California north of Copco Lake this evening. It also exited Jackson County and entered Klamath County in the vicinity of Grizzly Mtn. A power transmission line just north of the Oregon border was damaged.

Reports from the fire say some structures burned as the fire passed through ranchlands. No injuries were reported.
