Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:

Our warm and dry upper ridge will gradually fade away as the week progresses. The next Pacific trough and associated cold front will move into the Northwest Friday night and Saturday. This will increase winds east of the Cascades but will also bring in cooler, damper air. Wetting rains are likely in northern sections of the region with lesser amounts as you move southward.
