Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:
An upper trough is expected to maintain just a few showers or wet thunderstorms over the region thru Friday. A closed low over Nevada will keep a threat of a few thunderstorms in SE Oregon on into the weekend while a drier northwesterly flow invades the rest of the region. Next week’s weather will be dominated by northwesterly flow which may not give us much, if any, rain, but also will not afford significant drying of fuels either.
