Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:

Sunny skies inland today with westerly winds decreasing in the Columbia Basin and along the east slopes of the Cascades. Warming and drying ramps up on today and Monday which will push fire danger indices higher. Potential for more lightning next week mainly east of the Cascades, but lightning amounts do not appear to be heavy.
