Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:

A dry and mild southwesterly flow will be over the region this week. It will be breezy during the afternoons and evening in and around the Columbia Basin with the strongest winds probably on Friday. Friday also could bring some thunderstorm activity to the northern mountains in NE Washington. Overall, the large fire threat should remain fairly low.
