Paradise WA-OLP-000005. ICT3. 33 mi SE of Forks, WA. St 6/15. Monitor/Confine. Timber. 650 acres (+50). 30% containment. Cause lightning. Some isolated torching. Northwest NIMO team (Hahnenberg) has been ordered to assist with the long term planning of the Paradise fire.

Little Basin OR-WWF-000269. ICT3. 10 miles N of Imnaha, OR. St 6/15. Full Suppression. Grass. Cause unknown. 630 acres (+0). 100% containment. Minimal fire behavior. Remote area, rugged terrain. Final report unless condititions change.

Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:

A hot and dry weather pattern will be setting up over the Pacific Northwest as we progress through the week. This will dry fuels to much drier than normal levels for this time of year as we get into the weekend. The current focus is on an expected lightning event over the weekend and into early next week. This event has the potential for several days of moderate to possibly heavy IA and could result in as many as 2 to 7 new large fires.
