Paradise WA-OLP-000005. ICT3. 33 mi SE of Forks, WA. St 6/15. Confine. Timber. 800 acres (+150). 30% containment. Cause lightning. Some isolated torching. Northwest NIMO team (Hahnenberg) assisting with long term planning of the Paradise fire.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary:

A hot and dry weather pattern will be setting up over the Pacific Northwest as we progress through the week. This will dry fuels to much drier than normal levels for this time of year as we get into the weekend. The current focus is on an expected lightning event over the weekend and into early next week. This event has the potential for several days of moderate to possibly heavy IA and could result in as many as 2 to 7 new large fires.
