Northwest Fire Potential Summary:

An upper trough moves out of the area today. Westerly flow brings cloudy and cooler conditions although thunderstorms are still possible over far eastern Oregon. Holdovers are possible, but IA will be lower than the past few days. Another upper trough moves through the region over the weekend, which will bring some lightning to parts of eastern Oregon and central/eastern Washington. Cooler and cloudy conditions will develop with the passage of the weekend trough including some shower activity. Large fire potential remains low through the weekend.
