Incidents Previously-Reported: 1
North Star WA-COA-000157. IMT3. 5 miles E of Omak, WA. Start 8/13. Full Suppression. Timber. Cause: Human. 218,138 acres (+0). 95% containment. Minimal fire behavior. Patrol and suppression repair ongoing.

Lists fires (of any size) that singly utilize Monitor, Confine, or Point Zone Protection suppression strategies, or use Multiple Suppression Strategies (which may also include a Full Suppression component).

Northwest Fire Potential Summary:

A weak upper trough will approach the coast later today. The main effect of this will be to increase onshore flow today and Thursday with cooler marine air west of the Cascades. There will be a chance for some showers in Eastern Oregon as the trough moves eastward on Thursday. Latest weather models appear to be backing off on strong ridge for the weekend and instead want to bring another weather system down from the north which would result in cooler weather and likelihood for showers east of the Cascades.
