Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Warm, sunny conditions will continue through Friday with a very slight chance of thunderstorms in the Blue Mountains. Breezy conditions develop in the Cascade gaps Thursday and Friday. Cooling to slightly above normal temperatures over the weekend with breezy conditions on the east side. Significant fire potential slowly increases through the period. There are chances of wind driven fires in rangelands and moderate fire behavior can be expected in bitter brush and moisture stressed timber areas.
