Northwest Fire Potential Summary
The potential for lightning will expand southward today to include more of Washington and sections of Oregon. Thunderstorms are expected to be wet and fire danger indices do not appear to be high enough to support significant risk of large fire growth. However, initial attack activity is expected to rise in both Oregon and Washington from increased lightning activity.
