Northwest Fire Potential Summary
The potential for thunderstorms will continue today across most of the region. Thunderstorms are expected to be wet and fire danger indices do not appear to be high enough to support significant risk of large fire growth. However, initial attack activity is expected to rise in both Oregon and Washington from increased lightning activity. Strong winds and gusty conditions in SE Oregon are expected today with no lightning.
