Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Westerly winds and lower RH will continue east of the Cascades in the Columbia Basin and Columbia Gorge today and continue through the weekend. Lightning chances increase today over portions of southern and eastern Oregon, but the coverage and amount is not enough to merit a high risk in these areas. The overall potential for large fires remains low across the Northwest.
