In the past 24 hours, light to moderate precipitation over most of the Geographic Area with the exception of southcentral and southeast Oregon which received no precipitation. Lightning activity occurred over western and central Washington extending into the Cascades in northern Oregon. One new large fire reported (Creed) in light fuels in northcentral Oregon.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Lightning ignitions are likely over eastern Washington but will end on Saturday as the weather pattern shifts to favor warmer and drier conditions. Fire danger indices are expected to gradually climb for the next week but otherwise no critical fire weather events are anticipated.
