Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Stronger westerly winds and lower RH will continue along the eastern slopes of the Cascades, in the Columbia Basin, and Columbia Gorge today. Breezy conditions will remain east of the Cascades through early this week and lightning could return to parts of Washington and NE Oregon as the next upper level trough moves through early to mid-week. However, the overall potential for large fires remains low across the Northwest.
