One type 1 IMT mobilized (Bybee Creek in OR). In the past 24 hours, the weather was sunny, dry, and breezy. No lightning or precipitation in the Geographic Area. Light initial attack. One new large fire reported (South Ward Gap) in Southcentral Washington. Active growth on Range 12 and Rail fires. One large fire contained (Black Rock Road). Continued management of long duration fires in Olympic NP and Okanogan-Wenatchee NF.

Bybee Creek OR-CLP-000199. IMT1. PNW Team 2 (Schulte). 18 miles NE of Prospect, OR. Start 7/28. Full Suppression. Cause: Unknown. 720 acres (+304). 10% containment. Timber. Active fire behavior with group torching, uphill runs, and short range spotting. Road and trail closures in effect. IMT1 PNW Team 2 (Schulte) has been ordered with in brief planned this afternoon.
Rail OR-WWF-000582. IMT2. NW Team 12 (Harrod). 10 miles WSW of Unity, OR. Start 7/30. Full Suppression. Cause: Unknown. 900 acres (+400). 0% containment. Timber and heavy logging slash. Moderate fire behavior with group torching and long range spotting. Structures threatened. Evacuations in effect. Transfer of command to IMT2 NW Team 12 (Harrod) is tentatively planned for 0600 today.
Weigh Station OR-973S-000573. IMT3. 13 miles SE of Pendleton, OR. Start 7/30. Full Suppression. Cause: Unknown. 688 acres (+188). 35% containment. Grass and timber. Minimal fire behavior with creeping and smoldering. Residences threatened. Area closures in effect. Increase in acreage due to more accurate mapping.
Antilon Lake WA-SES-000340. ICT3. 10 miles NW of Chelan, WA. Start 7/29. Full Suppression. Cause: Unknown. 540 acres (+0). 70% containment. Timber, brush, and grass. Minimal fire behavior with flanking. Road and area closures in effect.
North Touchet WA-SES-020574. IMT3. 26 miles NE of Walla Walla, WA. Start 7/30. Full Suppression. Cause: Human. 525 acres (+0). 85% containment. Timber, brush, and tall grass. Active fire behavior with smoldering. Residences threatened. Fire Mobilization authorized (7/30).
Black Rock Road WA-SPD-000597. IMT3. 18 miles WSW of Odessa, WA. Start 7/30. Full Suppression. Cause: Unknown. 16,025 acres (-575). 100% containment. Grass and brush. Minimal fire behavior. Structures threatened. Sage-grouse habitat threatened. Fire Mobilization authorized (7/30). Decrease in acreage due to more accurate mapping. Last report on morning briefing unless significant activity occurs.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Strong cold front will bring gusty, west winds across the eastern half of the Geographic Area, followed late in the burn period by cooler temperatures and slightly higher humidities. Significant fire potential is forecasted to remain elevated for the remainder of the week with high risk events anticipated for lightning in Southern Oregon towards the weekend.
