Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Large fire potential is on a downturn due to cooler, wetter weather setting in. A corresponding decline in fire danger across the geographic area will reduce the threat of new large fires and flareups on existing incidents. While some lightning and gusty winds are possible, the overall combination of environmental conditions does not favor large fire ignition or significant growth as we go into the Labor Day weekend and next week.
