Northwest Activity Summary
Wet and very windy region wide yesterday. Over an inch of precipitation in almost every station west of the Cascades, moderate precipitation east of the Cascades although light in Southeast Oregon.  No initial attack reported yesterday. Five prescribed fires reported 929 acres accomplished yesterday with two units reporting planned prescribed burning.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Wet and windy weather will continue today as a strong low pressure system tracks northeast across Vancouver Island. The remains of a pacific typhoon will arrive late Saturday and move through Saturday night with the potential for more widespread damaging winds and significant precipitation. Showery weather will continue next week. Significant fire potential remains very low.
