Northwest Fire Potential Summary
The current series of storms will bring a continuing decline in fire potential throughout the week. Rain coverage and amounts will expand and increase and even turn to snow in some higher elevations. Frontal winds have potential to spread fires in the Columbia Basin and Southeast Oregon, but cloud cover, cold temperatures and higher humidity will moderate this and limit the potential duration of spread events.

Fire danger, new ignitions, and growth on existing incidents will plummet due to wet weather moving in. This appears to be end of significant fire potential for 2017.
