Northwest Activity Summary
Mild temperatures yesterday with moderate precipitation on the west side north of Eugene and scattered light precipitation elsewhere. Gusty winds east of the Cascades. Light initial attack with the Whitehall fire near Coulee City, WA reported at 2,500 acres. No growth reported on existing large fires. 60 acres of prescribed burning were reported with 6 units reporting planned prescribed burning.

Minimal fire behavior. Watershed, timberlands, powerline infrastructure, and major transportation corridor threatened. Road, trail, and area closures in place.
Chetco Bar OR-RSF-000326. IMT1, PNW Team 2 (Schulte). 16 miles W of Selma, OR. Start 7/12. Full Suppression. Cause: Lightning. 191,090 acres (+0). 97% containment. Timber. Minimal fire behavior. Road, trail, and area closures in place. Also managing Indigo.
High Cascades Complex OR-RSF-000636. IMT2, NW Team 8 (Johnson). 16 miles N of Prospect, OR. Start 8/13. Full Suppression. Cause: Lightning. 27,460 acres (-52,737). Acreage reduction due to removal of Blanket Creek, Spruce Lake, and North Pelican fires.  34% containment. Timber. Minimal fire behavior. Road, trail, and area closures in place. Includes: Broken Lookout (19,181 acres) and Pup (8,279 acres).
Jones OR-WIF-170191. IMT3. 10 miles NE of Lowell, OR. Start 8/10. Full Suppression. Cause: Lightning. 10,114 acres (+0). 91% containment. Timber. Minimal fire behavior. Area closures in place.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Today through Monday will be cool, breezy and showery. A drier weather pattern is expected Tuesday through Thursday with warm days and chilly nights east of the Cascades and offshore flow west of the Cascades. Significant fire potential will remain low through this period.
