Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Lighter westerly general wind is expected east of the Cascades on Saturday but otherwise expect little change in the weather across the geographic area. Clouds will cover much of the west side in the morning becoming sunnier by afternoon. On Sunday a weak weather system will try to increase clouds and bring some very light accumulation of rain to sections of Washington and Northern Oregon.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Fire danger is decreasing back to normal levels due to the recent cooling trend. Winds will be less of a factor east of the Cascades on Saturday and lightning is not expected for the time being. The potential for new large fires resulting from human ignitions is low.
