Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Warming and drying will occur for most of the region Saturday and Sunday. There is no risk of thunderstorms and no threat of strong general winds, except in extreme southwest Oregon. General winds may pick up a bit east of the Cascades on Monday as a weak weather system passes through northern Washington.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
ERC remains at or above average in most areas for the time being. Nevertheless, without critical weather or concentrated human ignitions, the potential for new large fires on the landscape is limited through Labor Day. Longer range outlooks suggest burning conditions may drop below average later next week.
