Northwest Activity Summary
Heavy to wetting rains occurred over the Cascade Range and Coastal Range with the exception of southwest Oregon. South of the Umpqua Divide and east through the Harney Basin it remained dry and breezy. The Blue Mountains, northeastern Washington and valleys east of the Cascades received light rains. Initial attack activity was light.

Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Temperatures will warm to near seasonal normal today and Thursday. It will be drier today, but still with some isolated showers on the west side, northeastern Washington and northeastern Oregon. Potential for showers and weak thunderstorms around the Blue Mountains this afternoon/evening. Thunderstorm potential expands to cover eastern Washington tomorrow and the entire east side Friday with potential for strong storms on Friday. Breezy westerly winds are expected Friday through the Columbia Gorge and across southeast Oregon. Cool, wet conditions follow for the weekend with showers lingering into next week. Northwest Fire Potential Summary
While damp conditions will keep significant fire potential generally low through the forecast period, PSA NW10 (Columbia Basin) will see some elevated risk Friday due to thunderstorms and winds. Fire behavior concerns will be short lived due to humidity limiting burn periods.
