Northwest Fire Weather Summary

A weak system will bring some scattered showers to western Washington today, but otherwise the region will be dry through Thursday. Friday brings a chance for showers and some wet thundershowers. A cooling and wetting trend will follow over the weekend as a weather system moves in from the Pacific. Expect probable increase in general winds on Friday or Saturday east of the Cascades with that system.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary

Potential for significant fire will remain at or below seasonal normal through the week. Fine fuels on exposed slopes will continue to provide some spread potential.
