Very limited activity yesterday. Initial attack continues to be efficient in keeping fire size small. Mild daytime conditions continued yesterday, and light evening precipitation came into western Washington, the Blue Mountains and northeast Washington.

Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Sunny and dry across most of the geographic area on Friday and Saturday after morning clouds on the west side. Temperatures near normal on the west side and rising above normal on the east side, particularly on Saturday. Relative humidity dropping on Friday and more on Saturday. Generally normal winds on Friday, then west to southwest winds picking up east of the Cascades on Saturday afternoon as another weather system approaches the coast. Cooling with some light rain west side on Sunday. Check local NWS forecasts for details in your area.
Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Significant fire potential remains at or below seasonal normal with the main fire threat remaining in light fuels on the lee side of the Cascades and around the Columbia Basin, especially when aided by strong gusty winds. A slight chance of lightning caused fires in the far corner of southeast Oregon and north east Washington.
