Dry and windy conditions in the northwest have prompted red flag warnings for portions of southern Oregon, northern California, and northwestern Nevada. Conditions across the area combined with critically dry vegetation will greatly increase the spread potential of any new or existing fires.
A Red Flag Warning means warm temperatures, very low humidities,
and stronger winds are expected to combine to produce an increased risk of fire
danger.
