7/26/2014 LAST Fire Fact Sheet for Jack Knife, Pine Creek, Black Rock and Donnybrook

Please find the following Fact Sheet enclosed for the fires on July 26th 2014.
The fire will transfer to Jeff Schardt's Type 3 team on Sunday July 27th at 0600.
The Central Oregon Dispatch Center will answer calls on the fire starting today.

The Team would like to thank everyone who assisted us with our efforts in addressing the needs of the fires.

Location: Oregon - Pine Creek fire is 11 miles South of Fossil.  Jack Knife fire is 8 miles SE of Grass Valley.  The Black Rock fire is 10 miles east of Antelope.  The Donnybrook fire is 10 miles south east of Antelope.

This will be the final fire fact update for Bob Fry's Western Montana's Type 2 Team.  The fire will transition to Jeff Schardt's Type 3 Team on Sunday July 26th at 6 a.m.. 
·         Today the Type 3 team members are shadowing present fire personnel to understand the fires. 
·         Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR's) on all fires have been lifted. 
·         Crews are continuing rehabilitation processes on all fires, including cleaning up dozer lines and other effects of fire suppression efforts.

The Team would like to thank the community, landowners and local firefighting organizations for both their cooperation and understanding. 

Pine Creek FireWork continues on hot spots identified via Infra Red monitoring. Mop up operations are continuing along the fire lines. Rehabilitation of dozer lines has started. Slash along Rowe Road is being chipped. Current Size:  30,245 acres  Containment:  97 %  Resources on Fire:  318 Personnel,
2 helicopters, 6 Type 2 crews, 13 engines, 2 dozers and 2 water tenders. 

Jack Knife Fire –  Crews are working on rehabilitation on fire lines.  Current Size:  13,263 acres   Containment:  100 %   

Donnybrook Fire – No smoke noted on the fire or interior heat. Will be 100% contained by end of the day.  Current size: 22,763 acres Containment: 97%  Resources on fire: 90 personnel, 5 Type 2 crews, 7 engines, 1 dozer, 1 Skidgen and 1 water tender.

Black Rock Fire – Little fire activity expected today.  Fire is going out along the road and other control lines. Any hot spots are few in the rough terrain on the north end of the fire. Containment expected by 8/1/14  Current size:  35,938 acres. Containment: 95% Resources on Fire: 28 Personnel, 1 Type 2 crew, 1 dozer and 1 Skidgen.
