Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:
A
weakening cold front will exit the region near the Idaho border today. Cooler
and moister weather following behind will continue to trigger clouds, showers
and isolated wet thundershowers over much of the region today. A clearing and
drying trend is coming over the weekend for much of the area. Fire danger
indices are headed downwards due to the cooler weather and so the conditions are
no longer ripe for new large fires or resurgence of existing incidents this
weekend.
