Northwest Fire Potential Summary:

An upper ridge will expand to cover much of the geographic area today. Expect warming and drying Saturday with light general winds as a thermal trough sets up west of the Cascades. The ridging pattern will begin to shift east on Sunday and Monday as a cooling trend begins which will reduce fire danger through much of the new week. Large fire potential looks minimal.
