Northwest Activity Summary
Mild temperatures yesterday with gusty winds east of the Cascades and in Southwest Oregon. Light precipitation across most of Oregon with widely scattered precipitation in Washington. Two new fires reported yesterday for minimal acres. No growth reported on existing large fires. Close to 60 acres of prescribed burning reported with no units reporting planned prescribed burns.

Chetco Bar OR-RSF-000326. IMT1, PNW Team 2 (Schulte). 16 miles W of Selma, OR. Start 7/12. Full Suppression. Cause: Lightning. 191,090 acres (+0). 98% containment. Timber. Minimal fire behavior. Road, trail, and area closures in place. Also managing Indigo. Transition to IMT3 scheduled for 10/06.
High Cascades Complex OR-RSF-000636. IMT2, NW Team 8 (Johnson/Keith). 16 miles N of Prospect, OR. Start 8/13.Full Suppression. Cause: Lightning. 27,460 acres (+0). 35% containment. Timber.
