Northwest Activity Summary
Very windy yesterday with mild temperatures across the region. There was a sharp contrast to the weather with Western and Northern Washington receiving a fair amount of precipitation and Eastern and Southern Oregon remaining very dry with poor overnight humidity recoveries. Moderate initial attack on the east side with the largest fire reported at 500 acres on the Burns District. Continued commitment of Northwest resources to California.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
A low pressure system will sag into the region today bringing very windy and eventually wet weather. A cold front will follow on Friday that will bring cooler temperatures, very windy conditions and continued showers. Wet and windy conditions continue through the weekend with a return to drier weather for much of next week.
