Northwest Activity Summary
Windy yesterday with mild temperatures across the region. Moderate to heavy precipitation region wide with only a few locations not reporting precipitation. Light initial attack with the largest fire reported at around 30 acres in Northeast Oregon. 11 prescribed burns reported completing 670 acres with one prescribed burn planned. Continued commitment of Northwest resources to California.

Miller Complex OR-RSF-000647. IMT2, NW Team 6 (Sheldon). 20 miles west of Ashland, OR. Start 8/14. Monitor/Full Suppression. Cause: Unknown. 39,715 acres (+110) 89% containment. Timber. Minimal fire behavior. Road, trail and area closures. Includes the Abney (32,846 acres). Remaining fires within complex are contained and/or in monitor status.
Chetco Bar OR-RSF-000326. IMT4. 16 miles W of Selma, OR. Start 7/12. Full Suppression. Cause: Lightning. 191,125 acres (+0). 97% containment. Timber. Minimal fire behavior. Road, trail, and area closures in place. No new information.
Frog Creek OR-BUD-007130. ICT3. 8 miles E of Diamond, OR. Start 10/18. Full Suppression. Cause: Human. 500 acres 100% containment. Grass/Brush. Active fire behavior. Sage-grouse habitat threatened. Limited new information. Last report unless significant activity occurs.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Showers, gusty winds and mountain snow can be expected today as a low pressure system swings through our area. The next system arrives Saturday with warm, wet and windy conditions continuing through Sunday. Drier conditions are expected for much of next week as high pressure moves into the region.
