Moderate to heavy precipitation across most of the region with the exception being the Columbia Basin where no precipitation was recorded. Very light initial attack reported. 267 acres of prescribed burning completed with 1 prescribed burn planned. Continued commitment of Northwest resources to California with some resources starting to return to the Northwest.

Miller Complex OR-RSF-000647. IMT2, NW Team 6 (Sheldon). 20 miles west of Ashland, OR. Start 8/14. Monitor/Full Suppression. Cause: Unknown. 39,715 acres (+0) 89% containment. Timber. Minimal fire behavior. Road, trail and area closures. Includes the Abney (32,846 acres). Remaining fires within complex are contained and/or in monitor status. Received rain and snow on the fire yesterday.
Chetco Bar OR-RSF-000326. IMT4. 16 miles W of Selma, OR. Start 7/12. Full Suppression. Cause: Lightning. 191,125 acres (+0). 97% containment. Timber. Minimal fire behavior. Road, trail, and area closures in place. No new information. Last report unless significant activity occurs.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Warm, wet and continued windy conditions today and Sunday. Drier conditions are expected for most of next week, but windy and wet weather may return to the north part of the region around Wednesday.
