Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Showers and a few wet thundershowers moved into Western Oregon and much of Washington on Saturday as a major weather change set into the region. General winds kicked up mainly east of the Cascades during the day with the change. Cooler, moister and cloudier weather is expected today and into the new week as a variety of weather systems pass over the region. Some of these weather systems will bring showers on both sides of the Cascades.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Overall fire danger will drop over the next few days due to the cooling trend. The potential for new large fires or increased activity on existing large fires is low with the expected weather and fire danger pattern
