Northwest Activity Summary
Yesterday brought another day of cool and wet conditions to much of the region, with the heaviest recorded precipitation occurring west of the Cascades.  Initial attack remains light with no growth on existing large fires. 527 acres of prescribed burning was recorded.

Klondike. OR-RSF-000354. IMT2, NW Team 8 (Johnson). 9 mi NW of Selma, OR. Start 7/15. Full Suppression. Cause: Lightning. 175,258 acres (+0). 80% containment. Minimal fire behavior. Timber.  Structures threatened. Evacuation notices. Road, trail and area closures. Suppression repair work ongoing. Precipitation occurred over the fire.

Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Most of the region is between weather systems on Tuesday. A warm front will move into the Washington and northern Oregon coast Tuesday afternoon with rain moving further inland Wednesday.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Potential for new fires is minimal through the upcoming week.
