Northwest Activity Summary

Scattered precipitation across the region yesterday except for central Washington and southeast Oregon, which remained dry. Temperatures were cooler. Winds were light on the west side and moderate on the east side. Initial attack activity was light.

Northwest Fire Weather Summary

Clearing, warming and drying beginning today and lasting through midweek. No threat of unusually strong winds, instability or lightning is foreseen through Wednesday or Thursday.


Northwest Fire Potential Summary

No critical combinations of fire danger, strong winds, low humidity or lightning are expected through midweek. Fire danger will rise but the potential for new significant fires appears low for the geographic area through midweek.  Fire behavior concerns will be concentrated in fine fuels with exposed slopes and accumulations of thatch.
