Northwest Activity Summary

Yesterday brought a trace of precipitation to northeast Washington while the remainder of the region was dry. Winds were generally light with moderate winds in central Washington. Temperatures increased several degrees over yesterday. Initial attack activity was light.

Northwest Fire Weather Summary

Light rain will creep into the northwest Oregon on Saturday. Drying returning on Sunday. General winds will pick up east of the Cascades on Saturday as the weather system moves through but humidity is not expected to be low for the majority of the area east of the Cascades.


Northwest Fire Potential Summary

No critical combinations of fire danger, wind, humidity and excessive ignitions are foreseen through the weekend. Significant fire potential appears low. Fire behavior concerns will be in fine fuels with exposed slopes and accumulations of thatch.
