Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Warm and dry inland on Friday but the next frontal system will be approaching the Washington coast with some light rain possible late in the day and extending south on to the Oregon coast on Saturday. East of the Cascades expect increasing west to southwest general winds with warm temperatures and low humidity in central Washington and central Oregon. Gusty general winds continue on the east side on Saturday before showers and wet thundershowers move in on Sunday. Cooling over the weekend. Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Breezy to windy conditions Friday afternoon and again Saturday in central Oregon and central Washington could result in fast moving fires in light fuels. Some wet thundershowers are possible late Saturday and Sunday but plenty of moisture is anticipated with lightning. Fire danger will moderate on Sunday for the next several days due to cooling and moistening.
