Northwest Activity Summary
Cool moist weather continued to moderate fire potential across the geographic area. Precipitation was recorded in northwest and northeast Washington, which also observed very scattered lightning. Low relative humidity is becoming more common around Harney Basin. Initial attack was light, and fires stayed small due to high fuel moistures and moderate weather.

Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Decreasing clouds and showers on the west side Thursday and Friday. Mostly sunny and dry east side. Decreased westerly winds in the Columbia Basin and central Oregon. Temperatures warming on both sides of the Cascades but more apparent on the east side. See your local NWS forecasts for details.

Main fire threat appears to be in light fuels near the Columbia River Gorge. Winds diminished elsewhere.
