Northwest Activity Summary
Despite the day being warm and dry, there was very limited fire activity yesterday. Scattered precipitation fell over northwest Washington. No lightning was recorded, and the handful of starts were easily suppressed.

Big Horn. WA-SPD-000249. T3 IC. 7 mi SE of Ellensburg, WA. Start 6/30. Full Suppression. 400 acres (+0). 90% containment. Grass and brush. Minimal fire behavior. Last report on morning brief unless significant activity occurs.

Northwest Fire Weather Summary
For Friday and Saturday: Cloudy western Washington and northwestern Oregon but clearing from the south by afternoon. Sunny on the east side with isolated wet thundershowers over northeastern Oregon in the afternoons. West to southwest general winds east of the Cascades. Temperature near or a little below normal both days.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Main fire threat appears to remain in light fuels with westerly to southwesterly winds near the Columbia River Gorge and Columbia Basin. Human ignition will provide the best potential for activity over the weekend.
