Northwest Fire Weather Summary

With a trough of low pressure remaining over the region into the weekend, cool temperatures, breezy afternoons, and periodic rain/snow showers with some chances for thunderstorms will persist. Most locations in the region have a chance for some showers over the next few days, with the Columbia Basin likely to get the lowest accumulations. The low pressure system should finally move east of the region late in the weekend, for brief drying before another system follows with additional precipitation chances through the middle of next week. See your NWS forecasts for details in your area.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary

Significant fire potential remains at or below normal seasonal levels through the forecast period. The extended presence of cool, moist air will ease fire danger indices over the next few days.
