Northwest Activity Summary
Mild and showery yesterday with widespread precipitation on the west side and moderate to light precipitation on the east side. No precipitation fell in Southeast Oregon or Northcentral Washington. One new fire reported yesterday. Around 700 acres of prescribed burning was reported yesterday and 8 prescribed burns are planned. Continued mobilization of Northwest resources to California yesterday.

Eagle Creek OR-CGF-000493. IMT3. 2 miles S of Cascade Locks, OR. Start 9/2. Full Suppression. Cause: Human. 48,831 acres (+0). 50% containment. Timber. Minimal fire behavior. Watershed, timberlands, powerline infrastructure, and major transportation corridor threatened. Road, trail, and area closures in place. Transfer of command back to local unit occurred this morning at 0600.
Miller Complex OR-RSF-000647. IMT3. 20 miles west of Ashland, OR. Start 8/14. Monitor/Full Suppression. Cause: Unknown. 39,253 acres (+191) 86% containment. Timber. Active fire behavior. Road, trail and area closures. Includes the Abney (32,401 acres). Remaining fires within complex are contained and/or in monitor status.
High Cascades Complex OR-RSF-000636. ICT4. 16 miles N of Prospect, OR. Start 8/13. Full Suppression. Cause: Lightning. 27,476 acres (+0). 35% containment. Timber. Minimal fire behavior. Road, trail, and area closures in place. Includes: Broken Lookout (19,194 acres) and Pup (8,282 acres). Last report unless significant activity occurs.
Wolf Creek OR-OCF-001277. ICT4. 45 miles E of Prineville, OR. Start 10/10. Full Suppression. Cause: Human. 540 acres. 100% containment.
